R&H II - Bestiary wip03
Still working on my worldbuilding project. I added many things since the beginning but the "space" part is almost done for good.
It has been hard but I am happy to see it taking shape, I am also starting to see flaws in my work more clearly, which is good.
I am also eager to draw illustrations in color and with the characters acting together.
Next time: Bio-engineering, space ships and a book of magic.

A great nightmare eating bird.
Primordial jungle.
It is known that many of the first beings grew from the soil.
I find robots tough to draw, maybe just because of their joints. But still fun to design.
A reference to the "gibi" from the "Shadoks" an amazing old french tv show. Shadoks are bird like and live on a moving planet and are opposed to the more clever gibis who make fun of them.
The only creature besides the great birds that feed on nigthmares. Giants tamed them and they are now found throughout the universe. The cat destiny.
They live near asteroides and build pirate ships. Wear funny hats.
Heavely inspired by "Perdido street station" (China Miéville) moth creatures. An awesome book with many creatures if you are interested.
Dont trust the flowers.
Polymorphe inspired by Jeff Vandermeer "Borne" creature. A strange biotech/post apo book. Awesome.
Some sketches, I don't show them often but this is where I spend most of my time. Some design take many pages before I am satisfied.
