Halo Covenants Fan-Redesign
A fan-redesign of the different covenants species of the Halo Universe.
Halo was my first fps and it has a special place in my heart. I have always prefered the more sci-fantasy style of Halo CE over the more militaristic feeling of 2 and 3. With this small project I just wanted to play with the designs and ideas of the Covenants, keeping their soul while trying to push a bit more the fantasy and alien feelings I had when discovering this incredible game when I was a little kid.
A huge thanks to the hugely talented people who brought this universe to life, and those who continue to create it.
I might do the other characters one day, but I have a lot more stuff to finish before !

A basic Covenant squad with a scarab land fortress in the background.
Kig-yar are mercenaries, they carry all their precious (looted) items on their armor.
I prefer the original Sangheili, later they became more and bulky, in CE they have an agile reptilian look. I tried to emulate that.

I remenber that my first impression of brutes was of hulking, scary tribal soldiers. When they remplaced the elites i game I felt they lost a bit of their own flair.
A prophet,spiritual leader, I cannot resist to put a butterfly with a funny hat in all of my projects.
Rather than beings worms, the Lekgolo are a colony of different organs that can change to assume various roles.
As much as I like the hunters design I always thought they were too bipedal looking for a being made of worms.
